For generations, women have been encouraged to embody a version of femininity that emphasizes nurturing, compassion, and supportiveness, with a strong focus on beauty and appearance. While these qualities are essential, they do not fully capture what it means to be feminine.

Not even close…

The feminine is also fierce. She embodies qualities that are protective, wild, instinctual, sexual, and creative. At times, she can be destructive and challenge outdated systems, traditions, and expectations that no longer make sense. She also has an edge, a sense of rage ready to be expressed.

Many ancient cultures recognized this complexity, particularly in ancient Egypt, where goddesses were multifaceted. They represented a wide range of attributes, including creation, protection, leadership, fertility, rage, wisdom, and transformation. Furthermore, all ancient goddesses associated with beauty were also warriors.

Somewhere along the way, much of this understanding was taken from us. Of course it was. It is pure power. The current narrative surrounding feminine energy often feels wounded, entrenched in fear and limitations. This retreat is an opportunity to awaken the lioness within us, calling to be freed.

A return to our natural nature.

Why These Four days?

We will be gathering for the Leo Total Solar Eclipse. This marks a rare celestial reset point.

Leo is associated with creative power, self-expression, leadership, courage, sexual energy and the heart.

An eclipse interrupts the normal flow of energy. It reveals what is no longer aligned and creates space for something new to emerge. It shows us things beyond the veil.

At the same time, Jupiter is in Leo, amplifying growth, visibility, confidence, and expansion around these themes.

This is a magical, cosmic calling meant to be harnessed by those who feel it. The south node associated with this eclipse is in its last moments of Virgo. A time to break the cycles and chains of the past.

Collectively, these forces provide a significant opportunity to explore how we express power, creativity, leadership, and feminine authority. They encourage us to acknowledge the past while also letting it go. Furthermore, they help us bring to life what has been resting in our hearts, waiting for the right moment to arise.

The Feminine Cosmology Perspective

Feminine Cosmology views the womb as a divine gateway...

The womb is far more than just a reproductive organ. It connects us to the divine and our soul's memory. This sacred space is where our dreams, ideas, relationships, businesses, and personal evolution take shape before they enter the world.

There is a reason we have become disconnected from this knowledge. This separation distances us from our true nature and how we express our cosmic design.

This retreat is designed to help restore that connection and reconnect us with our authentic selves and desires.

Working With the Goddesses

Throughout the retreat, we will explore the teachings of four Egyptian goddesses whose aspects mirror the themes of this eclipse.

Tefnut (the Sphinx)

Primordial creation energy. With Mercury in Leo as well, we will take Tefnut’s aspects to a new consciousness.

Mut

The darkness and mothering aspects of the lioness to birth the light.

Sekhmet

Sacred power. Not power over others. The power to act, protect, and destroy/release for yourself.

Hathor

The house to hold it all. The love needed to embody the lioness.

Day 1

Arrival at 4 pm. Meet and get to know our surroundings before dinner.
After dinner, we will gather by the fire for our opening ceremony and discuss the details of the eclipse to understand the cosmic significance of this moment.

Day 2

Enjoy a slow morning in nature. Have coffee and breakfast at your leisure before we begin our day.
Morning workshop with Tefnut.
After lunch, we will walk into the woods for the eclipse (around 1:30 pm). We will hold a lotus ceremony and connect with the cosmic energy and Mut.

Day 3

Enjoy a slow morning in nature. Have coffee and breakfast at your leisure before we begin our day.

This retreat is a ritual-based journey through the Leo Total Solar Eclipse, blending Feminine Cosmology, ancient Egyptian wisdom, and embodied practice. Together, we will explore what I believe is a profound shift in feminine consciousness: the return of the lioness.

Through teachings, ceremony, nature immersion, and ritual, we will work with the wisdom of Tefnut, Mut, Hathor and Sekhmet to reclaim aspects of feminine power that have often been diminished:

instinct, sovereignty, sacred anger, creativity, courage, and leadership.

At the heart of this retreat is the understanding that creation emerges through polarity. We will explore the relationship between fire and water and work with the Zero Point, the fertile center from which creation emerges.

Set within the forests of Ontario during this rare eclipse portal, each day will include Feminine Cosmology teachings, womb-centred practices, eclipse lotus ritual, fire ceremony, and opportunities for reflection and integration in nature. The intention is to reclaim the creative force that already lives within you and to remember the lioness that has always been within you.

I’m bringing Egypt to Canada!

For the past several years, I have been living in Egypt, studying and researching ancient Egyptian cosmology alongside my husband, Hakim Awyan.

During this time, I have spent countless hours in temples, exploring the teachings, symbolism, and stories related to the Egyptian goddesses. I have come to understand that the ancient Egyptians had a much broader view of feminine power than we often do today.

Egypt was a matriarchal society, and as my research has progressed, I have become increasingly interested in how these ancient teachings relate to our modern world. I believe we are currently experiencing a significant shift.

Looking at the Leo Total Solar Eclipse and Jupiter in Leo, I see a powerful opportunity to explore these themes together. This retreat is my way of sharing what I have studied and experienced in Egypt with others in Canada, creating a space for learning, reflection, and transformation. One of my favorite things to do is to gather women in Ritual and support them through these ancient practices, which is simply something I cannot do online.

We will meet in the forest at The SEED Lodge in Rocklyn, Ontario, near Collingwood.

We will stay at the sweet, cozy lodge surrounded by 50+ acres of forest for the entire time.

All rooms are shared twin (2 ppl per room).

Bathrooms and showers are communal. The shared bathrooms have 5 sinks and mirrors. There are four individual toilets and four individual showers. All meals will be provided on site.

Cancellation Policy

Due to the planning, accommodations, and preparation required for this retreat, all payments are non-refundable.

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another woman with approval up to 5 days before the retreat start date.

What can I expect?

Do I Need Experience With Ritual or Womb Work?

No. All practices will be guided and accessible to both beginners and those with an established spiritual practice.
